The scientific and financial policy of IPP is determined by the Scientific Council, and the direct management is executed by the Director, aided by Board of Directors. The Board of Directors includes also the Scientific Council Chairman, the Deputy Director, the Secretary of Studies, the Chairman of the General Assembly of Scientists, the heads of the Departments, all academicians, all senior research fellow I degree, as well as the financial manager and the Head of the Administrative Sector.
Members of Scientific Council are all senior research fellow I degree, all heads of the Departments, distinguished scientists from BAS institutes of related fields, specialists from Sofia University, Sofia Technical University, Military Academy “G. S. Rakovsky”, etc. The financial sector is headed by the Financial Manager, and the Staff Manager is responsible for the staff servicing of the Institute. International activities are the duty of Administrative Secretor with Secretariat, responsible for the editorial work and publications, as well as correspondence and PR with Bulgarian and foreign organizations and public. The technical servicing and other auxiliary activities are supervised by the Assistant-Director.
