Comptes rendus de l’Académie bulgare des Sciences publishes blind-reviewed short scientific papers covering new, unpublished scientific results in the field of mathematical, physical, chemical, biological and medical sciences, Earth and Space sciences, engineering and agrarian sciences.
The journal was founded in 1948 by Academician Georgi Nadjakov. The original cover title is “Comptes rendus de l’Académie bulgare des Sciences”, and it is also known as “Доклади на БАН”, “Доклады Болгарской академии наук” and “Proceeding of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences”.
Academician Todor Nikolov has been editor-in-chief of the journal since 2006.
