On 16 and 17 May 2022, in the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, an international forum Evaluation of Social Sciences and Humanities in Europe took place in Paris. Discussions were attended by scientists from twelve different countries of the European Union, as well as representatives from a number of European institutions and organisations such as the European Commission (Research and Innovation); the Scientific Committee of the European Cooperation Programme on Science and Technology (COST); and the European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities (EASSH); Pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH-EU); Academia Europaea; European Network for Research Evaluation in the Social Sciences and Humanities (ENRESSH); Institute for Advanced Study (IEA), Paris; High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES), France; French Ministry of Culture, etc. Prof. Dr. Joanna Spassova-Dikova from the Institute for Art Studies – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was invited as a representative of the Bulgarian scientific community in the field of humanities. She presented a paper entitled Does Mother Tongue oppose Multilingualism in SSH Scientific Research and Evaluation? The Bulgarian (Cyrillic) Case.
