The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences hosted another concert from the traditional series that delight the capital’s audience with performances by talented young people – part of the joint initiative “MUSICORUM VIA. Two academies – one stage” of BAS and the “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” NMA.
On November 3, the “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall resounded with works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, Giuseppe Verdi, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Giacomo Puccini, George Enescu, Otar Taktakishvili, and Vassil Kazandjiev were performed by winners of national and international competitions – students from NMA and pupils from the “Lyubomir Pipkov” National Music School.
The audience had the pleasure of hearing Anzhelina Dencheva (soprano), Philip Iliev (piano), Svilen Denchev (baritone), Nikola Danev (flute), Kameliya Prokopova (bassoon), Gergana Georgieva (soprano), Zhou Jingyao (flute), and Jun Qing (soprano). They were accompanied on the piano by teachers Vasilena Atanasova, Mira Iskarova, Zornitsa Getova, Tatyana Bozhko, and Svetozara Toneva.
