Prof. Georgi Antchev from the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of BAS showed the tunnel of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and told about the TOTEM\/PPS experiment.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>CERN (French: Conseil Europ\u00e9en pour la Recherche Nucl\u00e9aire) is the European Organization for Nuclear Research and is the world&#8217;s largest particle physics laboratory. Bulgaria joined CERN in 1999.<\/p>\n<p>TOTEM is one of the new experiments located in the Large Hadron Collider tunnel.
