The award of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria was presented at a ceremony on 1 March.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research of Eng. Yavor Danov is related to the development of polymeric cryogels based on beta-cyclodextrin as a new type of drug carriers characterized by controlled release of various bioactive substances (aripiprazole and cannabidiol). The results have been reported in 2 scientific publications in the journals <em>Pharmaceutics<\/em> and <em>Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics,<\/em> and presented at 2 scientific forums.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the competition participated also the young scientists Nasko Hristov Nachev &#8211; PhD student at the Institute of Polymers &#8211; BAS, Nikoleta Dragomirova Filipova &#8211; PhD student at UCTM &#8211; Sofia, Asisst. Daniela Yordanova Atanasova from UCTM &#8211; Sofia and Denitsa Valerieva Nikolova &#8211; PhD student at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, SU \u201cKl.
