The prize is awarded once every five years in connection with the anniversary of the birth of N. N. Bogolyubov (1909-1992).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bas.bg\/?p=46541&#038;lang=en\">Academician Ivan Todorov<\/a> is one of the world&#8217;s most eminent Bulgarian physicists. He is known for his contributions to mathematical physics, in particular quantum field theory.
