Corresponding Member Evelina Slavcheva took office as President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. At a ceremony held today at BAS, Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, symbolically handed over the key of the Academy to the newly elected President.<\/p>\n

During your two mandates, a spirit of collegiality and tolerance prevailed. All the good practices that you have established, we will certainly continue in the next term, said Corr. Memb. Slavcheva.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Dimitar Zdravkov, Advisor to the President on Education, the President of the General Assembly Prof. Vassil Kirov, the Vice-Presidents Corr. Memb. Evdokia Pasheva and Corr. Memb. Stefan Hadjitodorov, the Scientific Secretary-General of BAS Prof. Neli Koseva and representatives of the media.<\/p>\n
