Guests of the academic celebration were the Vice-President of BAS Prof. Shtelian Shterionov, the Deputy Director of the &#8222;St. Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher&#8220; National High School of Ancient Languages and Cultures (NGDEK) and conductor of the high school choir Mr. Daniel Ivanov, current and former colleagues from BAS and Sofia University, students, pupils and citizens. After the welcoming speech of the Director of CMRC Prof. Veselka Zhelyazkova, a short musical program was performed by the Choir for Early Music at NGDEK &#8211; part of the partner network of CMRC. Of particular interest was the lecture by Dr. Andrey Bobev &#8222;Three Western hagiographic texts about the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius&#8220;.
