The forthcoming third meeting of the presidents of the academies of sciences in the Black Sea region was discussed at a meeting today at BAS by the President of the Academy, Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva, and Acad. Asaf Hajiyev \u2013 Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). The event will be held in May 2026; the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will be the host and co-organizer.<\/p>\n

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Julian Revalski, Member of BAS, President of the Academy (2016-2024), PABSEC Special Representative to International Scientific Organizations.<\/p>\n
