The results of the research, obtained with the help of laser technologies, were presented at the \u201cScience and Practice in Innovative Materials and Green Technologies for Sustainable Development\u201d forum which took place on November 5 and 6 in Sofia. Initial experiments have shown that the sensors are a reliable method for analyzing water and beverages. They react to contaminants, are easy to manufacture, and are suitable for repeated use. A femtosecond laser is used to create new materials that are suitable for removing dust and water deposits from solar panels.<\/p>\n<p>Corr. Memb. Nikolay Nedyalkov, PhD student Emil Filipov, Assoc. Prof. Svetoslav Kolev, and Sen. Asst. Prof. Borislava Georgieva, PhD participated in the forum with presentations. They contributed with the results of their latest research within the \u201cInnovative Polymer, Composite, Metal Materials, and Alloys\u201d panel.
