The Academy&#8217;s Governing Council awarded the distinction to Corresponding Member Panayotov for his scientific and applied contributions to metallurgy and in connection with his 75th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Corr. Memb. Panayotov is a renowned scientist in the fields of chemistry, mining, environmental enrichment and protection, with numerous publications and scientific developments that are highly regarded in Bulgaria and internationally.
