The 17th scientific session \u201cYoung Scientists in the World of Polymers\u201d was held on June 4, 2026, at the Institute of Polymers \u2013 BAS. It is organized annually in June by the Institute of Polymers \u2013 BAS and provides a platform for young scientists, students, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers engaged in scientific research in the field of polymers and other scientific areas involving the study and application of polymer materials.<\/p>\n

This year, 5 oral presentations and 23 poster presentations were delivered by participants from the Institute of Polymers \u2013 BAS, the Institute of Organic Chemistry with Center of Phytochemistry \u2013 BAS, the \u201cStephan Angeloff\u201d Institute of Microbiology \u2013 BAS, Sofia Medical University, Sofia University \u201cSt. Kliment Ohridski,\u201d and the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy.<\/p>\n

A scientific jury consisting of Assoc. Prof. Radostina Kalinova, PhD, Prof. Ivaylo Dimitrov, PhD, Prof. Olya Stoilova, PhD, Dr. Violeta Mitova, and Assoc. Prof. Filip Ublekov, PhD (IP-BAS) recognized the authors of one research paper and three posters:<\/p>\n
