The President of BAS Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva attended the official award ceremony of the best universities of Bulgaria for 2024 which was held at the NV Tower in Sofia. The "24 Chasa" newspaper organized the event for the awarding of the "Academic Oscars" - honors for the universities that are first in the rating of higher education institutions by professional fields.   The activities of the BAS institutes were presented by Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva during a meeting with the Head of the EC Representation Yordanka Chobanova. The projects in which the Academy participates through the Horizon Europe programme were discussed. During the conversation, Yordanka Chobanova presented the strategic priorities of the EC for the next five years.
