MUSICORUM VIA has ended the academic year 2024-2025 at BAS The season of our new initiative "MUSICORUM VIA. Two academies - one stage" ended yesterday with a concert of PhD students from the "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" National Music Academy in the "Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall of BAS-Administration. This is the tenth concert in the series of performances of NMA students and lecturers to the academic community and the citizens of the capital. Works by J. С. Bach, Huang Tzu, J. Brahms, Giuseppe Verdi, P. Vladigerov, D. Arnaudov, etc. were presented. The concert featured doctoral student instrumentalists (piano, double bass, flute, clarinet) and singers. The opportunities of science to support new industries and education were discussed at a meeting with the Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev by scientists from the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT) and the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems (IEES). The scientists presented the scientific activities and the latest developments with international funding that they are currently working on. Scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences are participating in the Green Transition Forum 5.0 which has opened today and will last until 20 June at the Sofia Event Center. Competitiveness and innovation in Central and Eastern European countries are the focus of the largest transformation and development event in the region. Teams of institutes from different scientific fields of BAS are presenting current developments and news thematically related to the main topics of the forum.
