More than 30 established and emerging Bulgarian and international researchers are participating in the forum, which will continue through July 15.
The Vice-President of BAS, Prof. Emmanuel Moutafov, delivered a welcoming address during the opening ceremony. He emphasized that hosting this prestigious forum was particularly important and noted that it coincided with the centennial of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Egypt. Despite the geographical distance, our two countries share deep historical similarities, said the Vice-President.
The director of the Institute for Historical Studies, Assoc. Prof. Nadya Filipova; Prof. Abdallah Abdel-Ati Al-Naggar from the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology – Eötvös Loránd University; the Egyptian Ambassador to Sofia, H.E.
