Laboratory of Telematics

The mission of the Laboratory of Telematics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is to enhance the ICT skills of information society users in Bulgaria.

Research and development in the field of education, computer and communication technologies, health, national security and defense, the preservation of cultural and historical identity and heritage are carried out in the Laboratory, on the road to building a knowledge-based economy and society.

Training programs in the field of computer and communication technologies are developed using Microsoft technologies and solutions;

Work is being done to create prerequisites for the implementation of the developments developed in the educational process at all levels in the Academy and in the country, as well as to develop a training center for language, computer and communication technologies with the application of Microsoft technologies and solutions.

The unit is the successor to the first electronic computing center in Bulgaria.
