A public lecture by Ms. Karina Angelieva, Executive Director of the International Science and Technology Centre (ISTC) with a mandate from the European Commission, was held on 21.03.2025 at the Economic Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The ISTC is an intergovernmental organisation established in 1992 whose members include the EU, Japan, the USA, Norway, the Republic of Korea, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Its activities cover the territory of 100 countries. Its main objectives are to facilitate and accelerate peaceful multilateral scientific and technological cooperation and to address national and global technological problems, including through support for basic and applied research.
