A thematic collection presents the results of the “Environmental Protection and Risk Reduction from Adverse Events and Natural Disasters” NSP

The results and innovative achievements of the scientists under the "Environmental Protection and Risk Reduction from Adverse Events and Natural Disasters" National Scientific Programme are presented in a thematic collection of the same name edited by Corr. Memb. К. Ganev and Prof. Boian Koulov. The 473-page publication was presented during the final scientific conference of the programme which took place on 6 February at BAS. The collection is intended for the general public as well as for state and municipal authorities. Corr. Memb. Meeting of Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva with H.E. Huseyn Huseynov

  The cooperation between BAS and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) in the field of cultural and historical heritage was discussed at a meeting at BAS by the President Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva and the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Huseyn Huseynov. The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Acad. Asaf Hajiyev visits BAS

The role of the academies of sciences in improving the cooperation between the countries of the Black Sea region was discussed at a meeting today at BAS by the President of the Academy, Corr. Memb. The President of BAS meets with the Ambassador of France H.E. Joël Meyer

The President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva met with the Ambassador of France in Bulgaria H.E. Joël Meyer. Shadow Economy Tolerance Index

The Institute of Philosophy and Sociology - BAS (IPS) has completed the implementation of a three-year research project "Shadow economy factor determination and approaches to limit it in Bulgarian society" (Contract KP-06-H35/9 of 18.12.2019), funded by the Bulgarian National Science Fund and implemented by a team under the scientific leadership of Prof. Emilia Chengelova.
