French finesse hovered over the Big Hall of BAS yesterday

On 28.05. at 6 p.m., the third concert of the "MUSICORUM VIA. Two academies - one stage" series took place. Talented students from the Instrumental Faculty of the "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" National Music Academy performed works by French composers in front of the full hall of BAS. The programme included opuses by Ravel, Debussy, Saint-Saëns, Poulenc and others. Particularly impressive were the performances on violin by Viktor Trenev and piano on four hands (Yana Chupetlovska and Konstantin Krondev) which led the listeners to enthusiasm for the mastery of the young musicians and provoked well-deserved compliments to their teachers. The initiative “Two Academies – One Stage” starts with “Masterpieces of Opera and Operetta Classics”

The joint initiative of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Music, MUSICORUM VIA, has started with a concert entitled “Masterpieces of Opera and Operetta Classics. Two Academies - One Stage”. The event took place on 7 April at the “Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall with the participation of students from the Vocal Faculty of the “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Academy of Music. Arias and ensembles from works by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Offenbach, Kalman, Lehar were performed. The President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Corr. Memb.
