The meeting aimed at open dialogue and engagement of representatives from different sectors of government, academia, industry, agriculture, civil society and other stakeholders in the search for sustainable solutions and responsible development of new technologies related to the green transition and digital transformation. It is hoped that the dialogue will help connect stakeholders to identify key policy issues requiring concerted international action which the OECD can facilitate through an inclusive and forward-looking dialogue agenda. Open science and human capital development, societal values and public interest and their embedding in technological development were important highlights of the thematic panels at the meeting.

With their participation as part of the Bulgarian delegation, Prof. Koseva and Assoc. Prof. Spasova contributed to increasing the visibility of our country in the global efforts for scientific and technological development in support of the transition to sustainability.
