The President of BAS Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva met on 12 March with the Senior Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in Bulgaria, Ms. Hannah Kamenetsky. They discussed the possibilities of organizing meetings of American companies working in the field of science and innovation with BAS institutes. The participation of the Academy in formats such as Science for Business and cooperation with Sofia Tech Park was presented. The potential of BAS as a modern and flexible institution with high-tech equipment for international cooperation in other fields of knowledge was presented. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Stanislava Dimitrova, Senior Commercial Advisor at the US Embassy and Prof. Emmanuel Moutafov, Vice-President of BAS.

The book "Icons from the National Church Museum of History and Archaeology" was officially presented on 11 March in the “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall of BAS. The publication is the work of the Institute of Art Studies of BAS and the National Church Museum of History and Archaeology under the Holy Synod. The President of BAS, Corr. Memb. On March 11, 2025, a public meeting-discussion on "Bridging Cultures: The Albanian View on Cultural Diplomacy" was held at the “Ivan Geshov” Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It is part of a series of events on cultural diplomacy in Bulgaria and the Balkans organized by the Institute of Balkan Studies with Center for Thracology at BAS (IBSCT-BAS) in partnership with the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria (SIC). The Vice-President of BAS Prof. Shtelian D. Shterionov participated in a ceremony to pay tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the Holocaust and commemorate 82 years since the salvation of the Bulgarian Jews. The event was held on March 10 in front of the "The Wall of the Bulgarian Righteous" memorial in the courtyard of 134 "Dimcho Debelyanov" High School - ORT School. Archimandrite John offered a memorial prayer for the victims. The event was also attended by Minister of Justice Georgi Georgiev, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence Hristo Gadzhev, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Tania Mihajlova, ambassadors, representatives of the rabbinate, Orthodox clergy and citizens.
