Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 14 to 16 January, hosted the fourth edition of the Future Minerals Forum - one of the most important conferences for the mining industry, setting global priorities and trends not only in the mining and processing industry but also in the world economy. The Honorary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Philippe Beke with a lecture at BAS

On 17.01.2025, the Honorary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Sofia - H.E. Philippe Beke presented a lecture on "Leadership in Environmental Responsibility, Social Commitment and Efficient Governance as a Marker of the EU in Global Affairs" at BAS. The event was organised by the Centre for National Security and Defence Research (CNSDR) at BAS. Ambassador Dai Qingli lectures on China’s role in the world economy

The Institute of Economic Studies has opened a library section with books in Chinese At the invitation of the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Her Excellency Dai Qingli, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bulgaria, delivered a lecture on "New political trends in the Chinese economy and prospects for China-EU and China-Bulgaria cooperation". The President of BAS presents awards at the Academic Oscars ceremony

The President of BAS Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva attended the official award ceremony of the best universities of Bulgaria for 2024 which was held at the NV Tower in Sofia. Meeting of Corr. Memb. Slavcheva with the Head of the EC Representation in Bulgaria

  The activities of the BAS institutes were presented by Corr. Memb. Evelina Slavcheva during a meeting with the Head of the EC Representation Yordanka Chobanova. The projects in which the Academy participates through the Horizon Europe programme were discussed. During the conversation, Yordanka Chobanova presented the strategic priorities of the EC for the next five years. The successful transition to a low-carbon economy a topic of a meeting at BAS

How the Bulgarian scientists can support the process of successful energy transition in Europe was discussed at a meeting today at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences by the President of the Academy Corr.
