MUSICORUM VIA presents “Music in Black and White”

  Pianists from the Instrumental Faculty of the National Music Academy performed works by composers Franz Schubert, Ferenc Liszt, Robert Schumann, Pancho Vladigerov, Béla Bartók, Alexander Scriabin, Igor Stravinsky, and Guido Agosti. The piano concert took place on November 10 in the “Prof. Marin Drinov” Hall of BAS as part of the initiative of the “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Music Academy and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, “MUSICORUM VIA. Two academies – one stage”. The “BAS presents:” initiative has begun

  Yana Petkova-Karakashova's exhibition "On the Road" is on display in the foyer of the Academy until November 21. Award for “Correct and Rich Bulgarian Language in Journalism” for Kiril Valchev

The Governing Council of BAS awarded the Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) Kiril Valchev with the distinction “For Correct and Rich Bulgarian Language in Journalism.” The President of the Academy, Corr. Strategic partnership in Plovdiv: science and institutions join efforts for crisis and disaster management

On November 4, 2025, a workshop was held at the Regional Administration - Plovdiv on the topic: "Space Technologies and Innovations in Support of Effective Crisis and Disaster Management". MUSICORUM VIA: Concert by winners of prestigious competitions

The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences hosted another concert from the traditional series that delight the capital's audience with performances by talented young people – part of the joint initiative "MUSICORUM VIA. BAS participates in ANSO General Assembly

  On October 30-31, Prof. Dr. Neli Koseva, Scientific Secretary-General of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, participated in the fourth General Assembly of the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO) in Beijing. She presented the main scientific directions and activities of BAS, emphasizing the rich potential for cooperation with ANSO in the areas of sustainable development, artificial intelligence, capacity building, and innovation.
