Meeting of Prof. Julian Revalski with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria

The President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski, Full Member of the Academy, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea H.E. Mr. Lee Ho-shik. They discussed the opportunities for strengthening the cooperation between the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and scientific organizations in the Republic of Korea, as well as the existing cooperation between BAS and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology. It is planned to organize a joint scientific seminar in Bulgaria. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-President of BAS Corr. Member Stefan Hadjitodorov.

Meeting of Prof. Revalski with H. E. Khalid Ibrahim Emara

The President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski, Full Member of the Academy, met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt H. E. Khalid Ibrahim Emara. They discussed the agreement on scientific cooperation with the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), within the framework of which scientists from Bulgaria and Egypt are working jointly on nine projects. Opportunities for cooperation in the fields of archaeology, history and culture were also discussed. Н. E. 153 years Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences celebrated 153 years since its establishment with a solemn assembly in “Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall of the Academy. Sofia Science Festival

Scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences took part in the Sofia Science Festival, which was held on 8 and 9 October in Sofia Tech Park. Participation of Prof. Revalski, Full Member of BAS, and Prof. Koseva in the forum “Science and Technology in Society”

The President of BAS Prof. Julian Revalski and the Scientific Secretary-General Prof. Neli Koseva participated in the 19th Annual Meeting of the "Science and Technology in Society", forum which was held from 2 to 4 October in Kyoto, Japan. The meeting was attended by nearly 1,000 global experts from over 80 countries, regions and international organizations. The main objective of the meeting was to hold discussions on the progress of science and technology for the benefit of humanity.
