At the initiative of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Academy is included in the UNESCO program for 2019. On this occasion, a photo exhibition of BAS at the UNESCO premises in Paris is presenting the activities of the Academy to the international community. The opening of the exhibition took place on 16 October in the presence of ambassadors, Bulgarians living and working in France and representatives of the scientific community. With a solemn concert and spectacle at the National Palace of Culture, the culmination of the festivities, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences celebrated 150 years since its foundation.
