The laser with ultra-high intensity pulses is 1000 times more powerful than the World Energy Network. Bulgarian scientists with an innovative solution for extending the trolleybus travelling distance

Scientific achievements with potential for practical application which were realized in the first year of implementation of the National Research Program "Low Carbon Energy for the Transport and Domestic Use - EPLUS” were presented today at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The scientists from BAS and the partner organizations presented the achievements in the three components of the program: Saving and converting renewable energy; Electric Vehicles and Hydrogen Mobility and Effective methods for capturing and utilizing CO2. Fourth International Conference on Cyclotron Physics

The Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy hosted the fourth international conference on cyclotron physics which was held from 21 to 24 November 2019 in the town of Varshets. The event was opened with a welcome speech by the Mayor of Varshets Municipality, eng. Scientists from BAS and higher education institutions are developing new methods for using and storing clean energy

The National Scientific Program "Low Carbon Energy for Transport and Households" (E +) was presented on 8 February in "Prof. Marin Drinov" Hall of BAS. The program is financed by the Ministry of Education and Science and will be implemented for three years, announced its Head, corr.-mem. Konstantin Hadjivanov.
