The Vice Presidents of BAS, Corr. Memb. Evdokiya Pasheva and Corr. Memb. Stefan Hadjidodorov, today discussed the Bulgarian-Japanese relations in the field of science with representatives of Tokai University and the "Sts. Cyril and Methodius” international foundation. The meeting was attended by Prof. Kiyoshi Yamada, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tokai University, Prof. Naoto Yoshikawa, Vice-Chancellor of Tokai University, Mr. Hisara Tanaka, Asst. Scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences participated in the third edition of the Bulgarian Youth Festival "Hello Space! Bulgaria Calling!" which took place on 29 June in Sofia Tech Park. Its aim is to spark the imagination of children and young people in Bulgaria, to encourage them to dream and plan, to pursue careers in science, technologies, engineering, art and mathematics and to find solutions through science. The event was organised by the national Space & STEAM Cluster and the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, with the support of the US Embassy in Bulgaria and NASA (Houston).
