The number of researchers of BAS included in the top 2% of the world’s top scientists in the Stanford rankings is growing

Forty-one scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and another 7 members of the Assembly of Academicians and Corresponding Members who work in universities are among the top two percent of top scientists in the world, according to Stanford University's career-long impact ranking published recently. In the Stanford rankings published in 2020, scientists working at BAS were 25. Now their number is 41 which unequivocally shows the high standing of Academy researchers among the global scientific community and their leading role in world science. A total of 73 researchers from Bulgaria from different fields of science have found a place in the ranking of the American university. Cooperation Agreement between BAS and the Russian Academy of Sciences
